Remark | Militär/Politik - WW II V-Mail letter (141st General Hospital - England), APO 591 to Staunton, Va. (you can see the silver in it) --- letter is to Mr. Myron Weinstein, Barracks E2, Woodrow Wilson General Hospital, Staunton, Virginia (but it appears to be crossed out in pencil) --- from Private George Babsicky (sp?), 141st General Hospital, A.P.O. 591, c/o Postmaster, New York, NY --- A.P.O. 591 indicates that at this time this writer is located in England - letter is censored; Letter begins, "Dear Mickey, How are you? I hope you are feeling in the best of health." He is working in a ward in England but hope to be put back in M.P. again, but he would rather be home in the United States. Evidently, a friend of theirs is an M.P. and likes the job. The friend was able to afford a bike for 26 US dollars. The letter is signed, Your friend, George. |
